I started Mystic Photography in the summer of 2022. This is a new venture for me even though I’ve photographed professionally since 2008. My dream for Mystic is to be a creative photo studio that’s not afraid to run with wild and crazy projects. I’m a huge fan of artistic expression and creating all kinds creative projects. My true passion is photographing models (both professional and amateur) and boudoir/glamour sessions. There’s just something special about portrait photography. I love the technical aspect of it and getting the chance to get-to-know people. Manipulating lights and creating effects with different lenses just speaks to me. I hope you decide to join me and my passion to create some amazing portraits for your home.

Senior portraits are so much fun to photograph. Since I enjoy working with fashion models of all kinds, I get the chance to relay tips and tricks I pick up to these seniors. Many of them like the idea of being a model on set and I try to accommodate that feeling. The more these seniors feel like the star of their own shoot, the better the photos turn out. Building a relationship (same for all other portraits) and making that person feel at ease is such an important aspect of the shoot. Sometimes it takes a little while to get that relaxed and confident reaction in a client, but when it happens, magic happens!

Accomplishments

EDUCATION: I’m a graduate of both the Art Institute of Dallas and Texas Woman’s University. I hold degrees as an Associate of Applied Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Sociology.

PHOTOGRAPHY: I’m currently working my CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA, www.ppa.com)

PROFESSIONAL CERT: I’m a current CPM (Certified Professional Manager) from the American Management Association (AMA, www.amanet.org)

TAEKWONDO: I’m an Il Dan (1st degree) rank black belt in UAT International Taekwondo. Registered with the Kukkiwon in Seoul, South Korea. Student of Forney Taekwondo (www.forneytaekwondo.com)
